Description	The Ministry of Finance created the Special Fund for the Industrialization of Wind Power Equipment. The institution allocates funding to wind projects assessment and evaluation studies, related technology research and development and the construction of pilot demonstration projects. The fund also supports the production of new wind turbines equipments. Subsidies of an amount of CNY 600/kWh, equivalent to USD 87.41/kWh, are provided to domestic companies for the first 50 new turbines of a minimum capacity of 1.5 MW they produce.
