| Description | South Australia's Solar Feed-in Tariff Scheme pays a premium guaranteed net tariff to households and small customers who feed solar electricity into the electricity grid. The current value of the feed-in tariff is AUD 0.54/kWh (1 September 2010 to 31 December 2011) and is available for the first 45kWh exported to the grid each day. The scheme will operate for 20 years and applies to households and small businesses that consume less than 160MWh of electricity per annum. The scheme will close to new applicants when installed capacity reaches 60MW. |
