Description Launched at the Johannesburg World Summit on Sustainable Development in August 2002, the Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Partnership is a public-private partnership to promote clean energy markets and develop financing for energy efficiency projects.

The Australian Government is providing funding for the Southeast Asia and Pacific Regional Secretariat. The Regional Secretariat addresses the policy, regulatory and financial barriers to the uptake of sustainable energy in South East Asia and the Pacific.
