Description	This initiative was to provide incentives for industrial-scale biodiesel pilot plants and support demonstrations of their effectiveness to encourage broader use of this cleaner-burning alternative to conventional diesel. The initiative also included emissions analysis, fuel specifications and standards development, research and technology support, economic and technical assessment, and public awareness and outreach.
