| Description | The Federal Council of Ministers decided in October 2000 to promote energy efficiency measures in the residential sector by means of a fiscal deduction. The decision should enter into force incrementally between 2002 and 2004 for an annual account of BF 1.5 billion (EUR 37 million). Acceptable energy efficiency investments are: improved roof insulation of dwellings, installation of high-quality double glazing, solar boilers, photovoltaic panels and thermostatic vans, replacement of boilers older than 20 years, and energy auditing. |
