| Description | The Australian Capital Territory's (ACT) feed-in tariff scheme pays households and businesses that install renewable energy generation technology AUD 0.457/kWh for up to 30kW systems from July 1 2010 to 30 June 2011. The premium price is set in advance each year. The scheme is available to all ACT electricity customers (except non-educational Government agencies) with generation facilities of no greater capacity than 30kW. All schools and educational institutions, both public and private, are eligible to access the scheme. All renewable energy technologies are eligible for the tariff. The scheme will run for 20 years from connection of the generator and will be paid for gross generation. |
