The Slovak Republic became the 27th Member country of the IEA on 30 November, 2007, having implemented all the necessary legislation and emergency response measures to comply with the IEA's treaty obligations. When counted together with industry stocks, the Slovak Republic holds stocks well in excess of the IEA's minimum 90 day net-import requirements.
