International Low-Carbon Energy Technology Platform
The International Low-Carbon Energy Technology Platform is the IEA’s chief tool for multilateral engagement on clean technologies between its Member and Partner countries, the business community and international organisations.
Created by the G8 and IEA Ministers in 2010, its activities focus on two axes of action:
In its activities, the Platform focuses on technologies that represent a significant proportion of CO2 reduction potential that are currently not deployed fast enough to allow the IEA 2 degree scenario by 2050.
