Buildings construction industry and other construction industry refers to the emissions linked to the use of cement, steel and aluminium, for buildings and infrastructure construction respectively. Energy and process emissions are accounted for across the full value chain of each material. For example, cement related emissions include emissions from the cement manufacturing processes, obtaining raw materials and preparing the fuel through to cement grinding and milling.
